Years ago I bought the first model of this lens, and although it was affordable, it just didn’t grow on me.
Since then, I’ve only used Nikon and Canon telephoto lenses. I still use a Nikon system, but was tempted to try a more compact and versatile solution. I did my research, and the SAcamera team recommended the Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM as a good choice. They seemed confident in their recommendation, so I tried the lens; despite my initial interest in the Sigma 35mm f1.4.
I am not going to be too technical regarding the Optics, but I will note the following:
It’s a little heavier than its 300mm f2.8 rivals. Its rivals, however, don’t have the versatility of 120mm-300mm zooming at a fast aperture of f2.8 all the way through.
If you photograph:
I can recommend the Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM lens to you.
Great package (SIZE, VERSATILITY AND AFFORDABLE)
